“中南米をごちゃまぜに”
JOCA東北のグローバル推進グループでは、障害者支援をテーマにしたJICA青年研修を2022年12月7日から年2023年1月25日までの約1ヶ月半の日程で実施しました。この研修では、中南米4カ国（コスタリカ、ボリビア、ドミニカ共和国、ニカラグア）から8名の研修員が参加し、日本と大きな時差の中で遠隔形式で行いました。
この研修の中で、一番好評となった当協会が運営しているごちゃまぜをコンセプトにした施設でのオンラインバーチャルツアーについてお話します。
ドミニカ共和国の障害者総合ケアセンターで働いている研修員から、次のような意見をもらいました。
―「地域住民が中心となったボランティア団体である「岩沼生涯協力隊」が地域貢献を自発的に行っていること、障害のある人、ない人が関係なく一緒に交流していること、という大きな2つの気づきがあり、自分の職場でも同じような取り組みをしたい」
また、もう一人のドミニカ共和国の研修員は当施設の蕎麦屋とフィットネスジムで働いている障害者の就労支援に興味を持ち、
― 「とても素晴らしかった！日本での就労継続支援におけるA型とB型の意味は何ですか？」
との質問をもらいました。加えて、コスタリカの研修員からは次のようなことばをもらいました。
― 「JOCA東北は障害者支援センターとして非常に優れており、障害者との関わり方は、とても人間らしい。当施設は国が運営している施設か、それとも民間が運営していますか？また、日本には他にもありますか？」
バーチャルツアーでは、職員2名が講師になってカメラマンと一緒に巡って、施設を利用している様々な人々を巻き込み、生の様子を伝えることができました。中でも、スペイン語が話せる専門職員が詳しく事業の説明を行ったことが、大きなインパクトとなりました。皆さんから実際に日本に来て、「ごちゃまぜを見てみたい！」との感想をもらいました。
JOCA東北では、今後ますます障害者支援に関する知識や経験を世界に配信して、交流していくことを目標に取り組んでいこうと考えています。

“GOCHAMAZE”（mix up）Latin America
We JOCA Tohoku’s global promotion team held a JICA Knowledge Co-Creation Program for Young Leaders themed Support for Persons with Disabilities from December 7th 2022 to January 25th 2023. On this program, 8 people from 4 countries of Latin America (Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Bolivia) participated regardless of much time difference between the two countries.
We would like to introduce the program that attracted learners the most. That’s the virtual tour of the facility which our association manages. The concept is “GOCHAMAZE”(mix in Japanese).
One of the learners working at a total care center for people with disabilities in Dominican Republic had a following opinion.
The volunteer group “Iwanuma Shougai Kyouryokutai” is active for local contribution. And the people with or without disability have communications each other. I would like to take in them to my workplace.
Another Dominican learner was interested in the employment support for people with disabilities at our facility： the soba restaurant and the gym.
That was amazing! What is the meaning of type A and type B on the employment support for people with disabilities in Japan?
She asked. Moreover, a learner from Costa Rica said these things. JOCA Tohoku is aｎ excellent place for people with disabilities. There are no walls on the communication among people with disabilities and non-disability. Who the facility manages, a public or a private company? Are there any other facilities like JOCA Tohoku in Japan?
On the virtual tour, 2 staff reported the place and the people all around the facility with a cameraman. Speaking Spanish, a staff explained our services in detail and that was a big impact for learners. Learners said they want to come to see our GOCHAMAZE with their own eyes.
JOCA Tohoku is supposed to work for our vision to deliver our knowledges and experiences about support for people with disabilities to the world and communicate with people all over the world.
